Financial support for registration/tuition is given to provide educational opportunities for children of the Otomí women when necessary. In addition, year-round study support is provided in the Activity Center. Here the children receive tutoring, educational stimulation, a lunch and an opportunity to engage in a variety of games and activities

The attention in the center enables the children to complete their homework and to develop additional interests and skills that encourage them to stay in school. Two teachers provide the guidance in this before and after school program.

During July, the children and adolescents of San Ildefonso are invited to a two-week course in which they study different aspects of the “Earth Charter,” ecology, human rights, peace, etc. Volunteers are essential for the success of this program.
